In 2014, my oldest daughter Taylor was diagnosed with fibrosarcoma. She was given one year. She fought for four more. During those years, I started a daily practice — devotional, gratitude journaling, personal development reading — that I have kept every single morning since. Not because I felt like it. Because I needed something that ran whether or not I could feel anything at all.
Taylor passed on July 3, 2018. She was the reason I got my real estate license in 2015 — I needed flexibility to be with her. She is woven into everything I teach about what it means to practice daily, and to build forward.
